Moira Blumenthal, the outstanding director of “Address Unknown” dedicated Sunday’s performance at the Bondi Pavilion to Gift of Life Australia and Magen David Adom.

The powerful performance was well attended and the audience was most interested in the life saving work of Gift of Life Australia. The connection between the subject of this superbly acted play and Gift of Life’s mission is that many bloodlines were severed in the Holocaust resulting in a deficit of lives being saved of Leukaemia families.

In Israel DNA searches to save lives and to register onto the Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Donor Registry take place at Magen David Adom centres throughout the country. Gabriella Goldschmidt told the audience about her work experience at the MDA centres.
