Rabbi tends to dying Catholic
On New Year’s Eve, the Jewish House’s CEO Rabbi Mendel Kastel was the “pastor in charge” at the St Vincent’s emergency ward. There was no priest around at the time, and she was happy for Rabbi Kastel to pray for her despite his not being Catholic. It seems that the onset of death is a great equaliser.
