$70,000 in grants for Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

Member for the NSW State electorate Vaucluse Gabrielle Upton has announced that $400,000 in grants have been secured for 15 community organisations in the Vaucluse Electorate through the NSW Government’s 2022 Community Building Partnership Program.

Ms Upton said the State Government funds will deliver much-needed improvements to local facilities including local schools, sports clubs and religious organisations.

“These groups are the lifeblood of our local community and this funding will help them continue their important work by bringing people together and building fellowship.

“I congratulate the organisations that were successful and look forward to seeing how their projects make a real difference.”

Among the groups receiving funds are:

  • $20,500 – Dover Heights Shule for roof and air-conditioning upgrades
  • $23,000 – NSW Friendship Circle to expand the Vaucluse Friendship Bakery
  • $27,192 – Central Synagogue, Bondi Junction to upgrade the kitchen equipment
