The Embassy of Israel, the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association, and Sheba Medical Centre in Israel held a webinar with experts from Australia, Israel and the UK on the topic of Long COVID.
The speakers shared the experiences of Long COVID in their respective counties and healthcare systems and discussed the likely burden and health system impacts of Long COVID and post-COVID illness in Australia and the development of Australian evidence-based clinical guidelines for Long COVID.
This knowledge sharing exercise also opens up new avenues of cooperation between the AHHA and Sheba Medical Center.

This continues important knowledge sharing on COVID-19 between our countries, this time focused on the Omicron BA2 variant and how third and fourth vaccine doses impact population immunity and government responses to new variants.
