Melbourne raises funds to save 33 children’s hearts

For Valentine’s Day, Save a Child’s Heart Australia and the Waislitz Family Foundation hosted 350 people on the rooftop of the Crown in Melbourne and welcomed back Dr. Yayu Mekonnen, a SACH trained pediatric cardiac surgeon from Ethiopia.

The goal to raise $600K was surpassed by the incredible generosity of the attendees, raising enough to mend the hearts of 33 children.
