Over 200 volunteers will take to the phones on Sunday for the JNF Green Sunday Telethon celebrating Tu- B’shvat, the festival of trees.

jnf70The majority of volunteers will be representing their local schools including, Mount Scopus, King David, Bialik, Yeshivah/BethRivkah and Yavneh. Youth movement members from Bnei Akiva, Habonim, Hashomer Hatzair, Netzer, Hineni and Tzofim have also volunteered their time to help call JNF supporters asking them to donate in celebration of Tu’bishvat.

Green Sundays will also be held in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

This year JNF will be asking the community to help disadvantaged children thrive in a new outdoor Garden Classroom at the Yitzchak Rabin Elementary School in Netivot.

These impoverished children lack the motivation to study and succeed. Building a Garden Classroom will give them a new haven for learning and activity and help give them new hope for the future

As it will be difficult to reach all supporters in one day, JNF would appreciate an early donation.

Donations can be made prior to JNF Green Sunday Telethon by calling the office on 92725666 or www.jnf.org.au
